Why me my Lord?

Have you ever wondered if certain things will really come to an end in your life. We have areas we struggle in life, for example, in our marriages, finances, at work, in our families and so on. At times after church services, after all that dynamic preaching and encouragement we come home and face the “reality again”. That is you realise the bills are still waiting to be paid, difficult parents at home, being jobless, no money, no food, no peace in the marriage, no freedom at work, difficult children and you wonder if at all one day things will change. Home probably is no home for you at all, at times you even contemplate on ending your life .“Your life is full of the question, "Why me my Lord, when are things going to work out?”

I have a word of encouragement for you. Now this might seem like what most preachers say when they are encouraging people but take a deep look at this scripture:.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11

Now the Lord knows you very well. He did not bring you up and then just dump you like that in that situation. Take a positive look at things and keep confessing this word with your mouth. God cares, in every situation you are there is a door way out. God will even provide a ladder for you to climb out of your situation if that is necessary. Tell yourself things will workout well and soon and if you believe it and confess the word of God upon the situation all will come to pass. Look back at your past life, how have you managed to push up today, it was all by the grace of God. Go on for the opportunity, for that job, enrol in that course, spend time in prayer and look for all possibilities to make your life better, talk to someone out there who can give you good advice, keep focussed and somehow God will make a way.
